Design-to-production platform for modern websites — part Figma, part Webflow. AI generates complete page layouts from prompts, with strong animation controls, CMS, and one-click publishing. Raised $100M Series D at $2B valuation in August 2025. Best for design-forward landing pages and portfolios; less suited to large content-heavy sites.

Framer adds Holo shader — holographic rainbow gradients for the web

Framer shipped a Holo shader that simulates how light splits into rainbow colors across holographic surfaces. Instead of choosing colors, you control the math that shapes them — available now in the Insert Panel under Shaders.

Auto Translate keeps all locales in sync automatically

Framer now automatically translates content across all enabled locales as you edit the canvas or CMS — no manual re-translation before publishing. You can choose the AI model or let Framer pick, and trigger per-layer translation from the right-click menu.

Framer adds Static Files hosting

Framer sites can now serve arbitrary files at custom paths — verification tokens, manifests, .well-known routes. Removes a common friction point for teams using Framer for production sites with third-party integrations.

Framer adds custom A/B test distribution and extended analytics

Framer shipped a batch of analytics improvements: custom distribution for A/B tests (useful for rolling out to a smaller audience first), folder organisation in the sidebar, filtering by tracking IDs, CMS page A/B testing, and extended history on Pro plans.
